Small little cafe open for breakfast and lunch only. Food was good, place was clean, priced were average, but you also get good sized portions. 7 of us ate there, with a few of us eating from the specials. We got the avacado, sausage omelette and got the yummy biscuit and gravy instead of the toast. Hash browns were crunchy - the way I like it - and didn't even hand to ask. One of us had cornbeef and hash - excellent.

Very friendly service. It's pretty much a typical breakfast and lunch restaurant. The food comes up fast which is just what you want at breakfast time when you're hungry. I haven't tried the lunch menu yet but the breakfast is good.

We decided to try this place out since it looked like a hit with the locals, and the food was pretty good and the prices were pretty fair. It is a really small building with not much seating but we would probably return.

Great place for breakfast. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and food is good. If you're in Lake Havasu give this place a try, it's a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Havasu.

Friendly staff, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Our favorite breakfast stop when we're in Lake Havasu.

I can't believe I tried this place again............. the food is horrible! I guess I thought there was a chance it could have improved!!! NO! The service was at least friendly this time but the food quality is so low budget. Asked for my hash browns to be well done. When they came out they were floating in grease and barely cooked. The server said "this is as well done as he could cook them, the grill wasn't hot enough because of all the pancakes he has been making". That statement doesn't even make sense! So raw hash browns floating in grease..... they think that is OK to serve at this place. Never again. Yuck.

I got an omelette but the mushrooms were from a can and the cheese was sliced. The wait staff was super friendly, but the food was just average !

Coffee was horrible, just plain old food service coffee. It was poured out in the desert. I got a breakfast sandwich to go, it was on a roll instead of toast, quality of ingredients are iffy, mostly food service frozen stuff. Seemed like nice folks, and some other menu items looked ok. They were making fresh salsa in a blender while I waited. Should have had them put some on the sangwich, it would have made it better. Gave me heart burn.

I was not impressed at all. Came here on the recommendation from a friend that it is the best breakfast in town. It definitely is a local place, nothing to rave about. My pancakes were over cooked big time and the bacon had a funky taste to it. I thought it was a little expensive for what you get. Hubby had an omelet and he said it was good but not WOW! Very small plain and boring joint. Sorry, I usually try to be more positive with my reviews, but I really don't think I will be going back.

Good food fast service and the price is average. Also you can buy the cool pictures on the walls, I have purchased two now and love them. kind of off the main highway and hidden a bit but worth finding. I do love having breakfast at sunrise in Lake Havasu az. Thanks Joe L.

A locals favorite. Really small inside though so be prepared for a wait on weekend mornings for sure. Food is OK/good, all the standard breakfast fare. A little overpriced for what your getting. Service is a bit surly at times, intentionally I think? Been here like 10 times over the last few years. Can be a solid 3 star spot at times?

This place is hidden, but worth the hunt. The food is really good as well as the service. Even though it is a small establishment, the wait is not long when crowded. Once seated the food is cooked to order and served quickly.

We came to Peggy's from a tip from the shop owner across the street. My friend's truck was going in for an hour's worth of work. Fine, but the four of us didn't have breakfast yet. So off we trotted down the block. The cafe is very unassuming with spare decor and lighting. Booths line both sides and tables with quad seating occupy the center room. We took up the window booth facing the shop to monitor events. We were approached by the friendly waitress and she proceeded to announce the menu. The special was the biscuits and gravy with hash - sounded good - done. Service was quick and coffee poured often. I polished off my plate as well my other two dining companions. Only the last fellow diner complained, less of the breakfast but more of a belly ache from a pre-existed condition. We lingered a little bit longer to witness the truck emerge from the garage and ready to roll. Overall, it's so-so. Frankly, I could make a better breakfast.

Peggy's rocks. Even if I do have to force my man to wait 10 minutes to eat. (OH FOR NO) Everyone is friendly. The sausage gravy BLOWS MY MIND! The fact that it is in the boonies and still is crowded, speaks for itself. Screw Denny's. Screw IHOP. Uncle Kenny's.... meh. I'll take peggy's anyday. My favorite breakfast place I have EVER been to.

I loved our breakfast here. we were visiting town and Peggy's was suggested by a local we asked... This visit was in 2007, but in light of the poor reviews I felt compelled to add. We waited a little for our table, and after we were seated were quickly poured coffee and given menus. My son had pancakes (I believe...) and I got a veggie omelet. It was great! Was it life-changing? No. Did it meet or exceed our expectations? Absolutely. We'll be able to visit here again next week during a visit to Havasu, and we'll update the review--hopefully for the better!

All these bad postings about Peggys are proof that these sites that rate restaurants are useless! I eat out every single day and I consider my self a restaurant critic! I have been going to peggys now for 8 years and I bring all my friends with me it is by far one of the Best breakfast places I have ever eaten at!!! Food is excellent!

This is our favorite breakfast/brunch place to visit while we are on vacation here. It is nothing fancy but a wonderful friends that makes you feel like home. The food is wonderful, great service and very well priced. Great restaurant and we will be back!!

A nice family run neighborhood breakfast cafe. Nothing fancy. Nothing bad. Portion is very generous. Their coffee is pretty tasteless, but at 75 cents a cup and free refill, you can't expect too much. Overall nice breakfast experience. The owner/waitresses are very friendly.

While waiting to get my RV serviced next door came by for breakfast. Have to defend against the D-bag reviews on here. Service was extremely friendly. I asked Peggy I she minded if I stayed while the RV was getting worked on and she was fine with it and never stopped checking on me, refilling my coffee and iced tea. Had the 2 egg breakfast. Eggs, great crispy hashbrowns and toast. $4.50 in a tourist town is expensive?? I think its pretty reasonable. The teenage waitress is quiet, and shy, not a bitch at all. To the previous reviewer, if the service was good, and you liked the food as you ate yours and your buddies food, dont give them 2 stars because you can make breakfast better at home D-Bag.
